TEACHER TRAINING
Teachers of KG and primary section attended two days training session on 1st and 2nd April on Curriculum Planning. Mrs. Anjali Mandal, Mrs. Samskruti Chauhan and Mrs. Seema Sharma Ex teachers of DPS, Delhi were the trainers. Full year capacity building programme will be conducted by them.
Principal Mrs. Anju Sharma attended orientation on SQAA framework organized by CBSE on 05/04/23.
Teachers completed 50 hours training on Digital Literacy and Hybrid Learning organized by CBSE in collaboration with Microsoft.

SPORTS ACTIVITIESDiwan Daulatram Memorial National Football Championship Boys under the aegis of PEFI was held from 7th to 9th April 2023. 7 teams from all over the country participated in the event. The Tournament was won by Team Chandigarh and Runner-up was the team U. P. Mr . Arun Sharma D. E. MPEP was the Chief guest for the Closing of the tournament. Trophies were given to the winning teams.
Shri Yogi Kanwar Table -Tennis Tournament was held from 28th to 30 th April 2023. .ADM Mr. Vivek Raghuwanshi was the Chief guest and Ashutosh Charasi was the Special guest for the Opening of the tournament.119 children from 8 schools of Shivpuri participated. Matches were played under 4 categories Junior Boys and Girls and Senior Boys and Girls.Shri Prakash Rao, Assistant director (Home Ministry) was the chief guest for the closing of the tournament. Results of the tournament: In the Team Events (Boys) – Happy Days School won and Bal Shiksha Niketan was runner up. In Girls team events Happy Days School became the winner and Eastern Heights was runner up. In Individual event (Boys Senior) Raghav Sharma was the winner and Deepansh Kushwah runner up, (boys junior) – Shubhang Sharma was winner and Eklavya Mittal runner up. (Girls senior) – Priya Vashishtha was winner and Hetal Bansal runner up, (Girls junior) – Sakshi Kashyap was winner and Vradhi Goyal runner up.
CELEBRATIONSHERITAGE DAY: Inter-House Quiz Competition was held on World Heritage Day on 15TH April 2023.

Sahodaya Inter-School Quiz Competition held on World Heritage Day. 10 Schools participated in the competition on 19th April 2023.

EARTH DAY: Students performed different activities to celebrate Earth Day on 21st April 2023. They collected and identified different types of leaves, debated on topic” “Tourism is good for environment”, did role play, recited poem, went for a Nature walk, made bird feeder.

VISIT OF NCC COMMANDERBrigadier Rajeev Kumar, Group Commander of NCC group headquarter, Gwalior visited Happy Days School on 24th April 2023. He took a session with cadets and motivated them to participate in different activities.
HEALTH AND WELLNESS PROGRAMMEStudents of classes 6&7 performed Brain relaxing exercises, exercises to activate neurons and meditation on 29th April 2023. The session was taken by Miss Jaya Sharma from Heartfulness Institute.
Summer Vacation was declared from 1st Mat to 18th June 2023.

10 days NCC Camp of 35 Battalion, Gwalior was organized at Happy Days School from 12-05-2023 to 21-05-2023. 25 students participated in the Camp. The tournament was held on 14-05-2023. Happy Days School won the Diwan Surindarlal Memorial T20 Cricket match against team BRG Academy Gujarat by 8 wickets. S.P Shivpuri was the chief guest for the award ceremony. Aavesh Khan was declared as the player of the match. He gave 22 runs in 4 overs and took 3 wickets.

SPIC MACAY INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION, NAGPURA team of 22 students and teachers of Happy Days School participated in the Spic Macay International Convention organised at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology in Nagpur, Maharashtra from 29th May to 5th June.Under this programme, students got training in Indian music, dance, painting, craft, drama, cinema and yoga etc. by well-known national and international award winning artists.

Three Days Annual Sports Fest was held in Happy Days School from 23rd to 25th December.
23rd December 2023 Day 1: Athletic Meet for Primary Section was organized in school. Shri Roshan Lal Thakur, DIG, ITBP Shivpuri was the chief guest of the day.Various events like 50 Mt. race, 100 Mt. race, hurdle, book balancing, relay race and throw ball etc were held. 500 students participated in the event.
24th December Day 2 : Athletic Meet was organised for Senior Section at Shrimant Madhav Rao Stadium.

Our school celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on 26-01-2024.The day started with flag hosting ceremony. The national flag was unfurled by the director Mrs Geeta Diwan and principal Mrs Anju Sharma. Flag hosting was followed by the National Anthem. The students of 5 houses danced to the tunes of patriotism. The School choir rendered a fabulous medley of songs. She will be appearing for the class 12 Board examination this year. Good at academics and extracurricular activities, Neelam appeared for 2 rounds of the application process and came out victorious.
The Vahani Foundation gives scholarships to economically disadvantaged students.30 exceptionally talented students are selected from all over the country. The scholarship includes full tuition for an undergraduate degree including hostel fees for top ranked universities of India. Mentors are appointed and regular training programs conducted to make these students leaders of the future.

SEVEN DAYS SPECIAL NSS CAMP AT CIAT CRPFSeven Days Special Camp was organised at CRPF from 28-03-2024 to 03-04-2024. 103 students participated in the camp. Students participated in various activities like BOAC, Slithering, trekking , Jungle Survival ,IED blast, Weapon demonstration. NSS Volunteers also did a Cleanliness drive at Badagaon and Bhadiya kund . Volunteers took out a rally in a village to spread awareness for the conservation of water, electricity and clean environment. They performed Nukkad Natak on Swachata and distributed clothes . They also played ice-breaking games,body building games, cricket and football match with CRPF officials. Besides this many motivational session on different topics like Cyber security, Career Counseling, First aid, Jungle Survival etc. were given by CRPF officials. The seventh day was the closing ceremony of 7 day NSS special camp. Volunteers organised various cultural items which included Folk Dance, Solo Song, Group Dance & Poem. Prachi Newar got All Round Best Award, Aviral Gupta and Tanvi Bansal declared as the Best Camper of the camp. 5/09/24 – Teachers Day was celebrated in the school with zeal and zest. The students of classes XI and XII took the duties of the teachers for the day. In the morning assembly the students paid tribute to the great teacher Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. Students presented Quwwali. The celebration also had a few games conducted for teachers like Tug of War, stapoo, chair race etc. After school grand lunch party was organized at Mewat by the school management. Beautiful gifts were also given to the teachers.

9/09/24 – Inauguration of Multipurpose Hall by Dr. Kanta NayarDr. Kanta Nayar inaugurated multipurpose Hall in Happy Days School. Students presented Yoga and classical dances. This hall will be used for various activities – indoor games, workshops, seminars, cultural activities and exhibitions etc. Dr. Kanta Nayar also planted Moulshree evergreen plant in front of Multipurpose Hall.

14/09/24 – Grandparents Day was celebrated on 14th September 2024. The event was heart warming gathering of grandparents and their grandchildren. The event started with Principal’s address. Grandparents exhibited their talents by dancing. A special programme by students of KG Section was organized to honour and pay tribute to their grandparents.

15/09/2024 – CBSE Yogasana West Zone Tournament was held from 12 September to 15 September 2024 in Sagar Madhya Pradesh in which 8 students from our school participated out of which Nihal Dhakad got second position and won the Silver medal and Tanish Singh Ranjan got third position and won the Bronze medal in Rythmic Yoga.

Every session was a step towards enriching the classroom experience for our students. Sixty teachers attended CBSE training on Active Learning organized by COE Bhopal.
9/10/2024 – Tiny Tots brought the Epic tales of the ‘Ramayan’ to life, captivating everyone with their incredible performances. Each scene echoed the timeless values of courage, compassion and devotion. Proud of our young actors for making history come alive on the stage.
11/10/2024 – Dussehra was celebrated by classes 1 and 2 with much fervor. Students dressed up as Lord Ram, Sita, Laxman and Hanuman spoke about the significance of the festival. Students played music, sang songs and recited verses of the Ramayan. Principal Anju Sharma told students about the importance of Dussehra and said that by conducting such programs, the feeling of mutual love and brotherhood among the students increases.

14/10/2024 – Educational Tour – (14 to 21 October ) – 124 students along with 7 teachers visited Amritsar, Srinagar, Pahalgaon and Vaishno Devi from 14 to 21 October. The tour aimed to provide students with a rich cultural, historical and spiritual experience, fostering their knowledge and personal growth. Students visited Golden Temple, Jalianwala Bagh, Museum and also witnessed the Wagah Border ceremony, understanding the importance of India – Pakistan Relations. In Srinagar students explored the scenic beauty of Dal Lake taking a shikara ride. They also visited Shankrachary temple, Mughal Garden, Shalimar garden and Pahalgaon. The students embarked on a trek to the Vaishno Devi temple and Bhairon Baba temple and experienced spiritual significance.
