SCHOOL ANNUAL REPORT 2024-25

ADMINISTRATIVE

We’re delighted to welcome you to our school Annual Report card day This report offers a glimpse into our learning journey, celebrating our successes.

Every child learns at their own pace, and we cherish the opportunity to nurture their independence and confidence. Thank you for trusting us with your little one - we are grateful for every moment spent with them.

7 teachers and one counsellor were appointed for this session. School increased sections to four per class.

School Annual Report

Bagless School Policy was introduced from April onwards as per CBSE guidelines. Students were involved in subject specific hands on activities, art integrated activities , quizzes, inter house competitions, celebrations of important days etc. Students also went for visits to Baalashram , Old age home as a part of social service.

School was made the District Level Coordinator for NAS PARAKH, a survey to assess the learning outcome of the students of classes 3, 6 and 9 by CBSE. The survey was conducted successfully on 4th December in 93 schools of Shivpuri district (8 blocks).

School was once again entrusted with the responsibilities of City Coordinator, Chief Nodal Practical Supervisor, Centre Superintendent and Chief Nodal Supervisor for the Board examination and Evaluation 2024-25.

TEACHER TRAINING

Teacher training is a regular ongoing programme of school. Teachers have completed around 30 hours of trainings from CBSE and other private institutions covering topics like Art integration, Artificial intelligence, Active Learning, Health and Mental wellbeing, HPC, career counselling and many more.

INFRASTRUCTURE

Construction of Multipurpose Hall was completed and inaugurated by Dr. Kanta Nayyar. The hall can seat 600 persons. It is being used for cultural events, meetings, orientation. Also, for indoor sports Badminton and yoga. The block has rooms for art , music , dance , library and ATL.

School signed up with Ei for their product CARES for classes IX and X. They provide question papers which are competency based. This helped children prepare better for their Board exams. Competency based worksheets are given to other classes as well to enable students to think out of box, improve comprehension and application to real life situations.

To help children struggling with their academics, the school has a robust plan for remedial classes. Students during their hobby classes sit with their teachers to understand and practice the topics. Worksheets to strengthen their basic concepts are been given.

COUNSELING

Career Counselling of students is an ongoing programme and is successfully conducted throughout the year.

Students of classes 10 to 12 were given regular career counselling on selection of subjects. Sessions on different career opportunities in various fields of science, Humanities and commerce. Counselling was done on individual basis for class 12.

Students of classes 9 to 12 also attended sessions on cyber security.

Behavioural counselling was done by the school counsellor on regular basis for classes 3 to 12.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS

School started a health and wellness programme in collaboration with Round Glass Living.

Children of age 10 plus and 16 plus were vaccinated for Tetanus.

Basic health check-up of the students is done yearly.

Blood Donation camp was organized in which 42 units of blood was donated by our staff members and students. The camp is held every year.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Inter House competitions held included Poem recitation, storytelling, quiz, solo singing, classical dance, debate, Vanijya utsav etc.

Investiture ceremony of the student council was held.

Orientation of parents of classes KG, 1 ,2 and class 12th was held.

138 Students from classes 8 to 10 were registered for the school round of CBSE Science challenge 2024-25.

NSS camp was held at CRPF in which around 100 students of class 11participated. During the camp students were engaged in many activities like cleanliness drive, awareness sessions, career counselling, BOAC activities etc. The camp is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the students and contribute a lot in ther personality development.

29 students of Happy Days School attended ATC CAMP oganised by 35 MP BATALIAN NCC at Saraswati Vidya Peeth School Shivpuri.

Under AFS our students and teachers participated in the regional convention held at Gwalior. Students participated and won prizes and certificates in many competitions like Robotics, Art, Music etc.

One of our students of class XI, Era Rajput participated in full scholarship STEM programme of AFS. She completed virtual classes and went to Egypt for one-month offline sessions. She was amongst the two candidates selected from India for this programme.

Under INTACH, Students and teachers of Heritage club visited Dhala, Badarwas jacket factory, Museum, National Park, Stadium. They are also working for the restoration of heritage building the Old Panchayat Bhavan in Thakurpura in collaboration with Shivpuri youth forum and Nagarpalika.

Students experienced the magic of music by attending satvik Veena recital by Pt. Salil Bhatt under SPIC MACAY. 6 Students and one teacher attended Regional convention of SPIC MACAY at IIT, Indore.

Team Happy Days participated in UDYAMITA an event to promote Entrepreneurship held at Gwalior Glory High School, Gwalior and secured 1st and 2nd positions in different areas like Picture Perception, Trailblazers , Corporate and the Sales Wiz.

Students also participated in MUN, Jaipur and secured prizes for best speakers.

Like every year, this year also students participated in tGELF activities – Reel to real, Drawing competition and Business plan and secured participation certificates.

All the important days and festivals were celebrated in pre- primary and primary section.

124 students along with 7 teachers went on educational tour to Amritsar, Srinagar, Pahalgaon and Vaishno Devi from 14 to 21 October. The tour aimed to provide students with a rich cultural, historical and spiritual experience, fostering their knowledge and personal growth.

School started READ programme to develop interest for reading amongst students. Students from classes UKG to 12 were given story books from school as a part of curriculum. Interesting activities based on these books were done to create interest in reading. As part of this programme students attended interactive and engaging sessions on storytelling, puppetry and motivational sessions from renowned authors and illustrators.

Students of classes 9 to 12 were send to Madhav Rao Scindia Khel Parisar to visit the shooting range and explore the sports facilities.

School’s 37th Annual Day ABHIVYAKTI was held on 14th and 15th December 2024. On 14th 800 students participated from pre-primary and primary section. Festivals of India, Plays “The enormous crocodile”, “Snow white” and “The Rainbow” were the main attractions of the show.

On 15th around 500 students participated in the two spectacular plays “Meera and “Gopi Gavaiya Bagha Bajaiya”. All the bhajans and songs in both the plays were sung by our school choir.

ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS

Acknowledging the success of our alumni, Dr. Divakar Jain and Mrs. Chhari Virmani got the young achiever award.

Alumni Yashaswi Chowksey secured All India 2nd rank in IES examination conducted by UPSC.

ACHIEVEMENT IN SPORTS

13 students have played at the National level in Athletics, Handball and Yoga.

32 students have played at state level in Athletics, Handball, Yoga, Karate and chess.

86 students have played at division level in Athletics, Handball, Yoga, Karate and chess.

126 students have played at district level in Athletics, Handball, Yoga, Karate and chess.
